Today I would like to talk a bit about make money with affiliate program. Or rather, make money with affiliate mistakes .
The very first mistake I made when I started out as an affiliate. Initially when I heard about affiliate marketing, I thought to myself,"Hey, it's a piece of cake." Just sign up an affiliate program, paste all those banners or links on my site and I am on my way to make money with affiliate program. After a few months, still not a single order in sight.
Interestingly, it was because of the phrase "Join FREE". Yes, it it is free to join any numbers of affiliate programs. Since it is free, I went on joining spree; signing up more than ten of them! Feeling enthusiatic and thinking that the more affiliate programs I have, the more money I would make. Of course later, I realised I had made my first make money with affiliate programe mistake.
I learnt that it is the worst strategy to use when you are new to affiliate marketing. Signing up many affiliate merchants, just because it is free to join. I read someone's blog, saying that in order to be successful in affiliate marketing, one needs to do a proper research and planning. Learn as much as you can about how to make money with affiliate program and the products or services which you intended to promote. Spend some time and do some planning as how you want to develop the business on your site.
So, if you are one of those crazy about "Join FREE", take heed. For starter, just concentrate on one single affiliate merchant. Make sure that the product or service is suitable to your site. Promote it vigorously to your readers who are interested in that particular product or service. Provide your targeted customers with value-added information through wrting reviews or tutorials.
So remember, don't make this make money with affiliate program mistake which I did.
